recovered

Happy Monday!

In  my sorority, we try to make Monday’s a little happier by participating in Compli-Monday.

The rules are plain and simple:  If it’s Monday, then do your best to compliment a sister.  We use facebok to post compliments but face to face compliments are fair game too.  It sounds cheesy (it is cheesy!) but it brings so many smiles to our faces and it is nice to have an oppurtunity to share your genuine feelings of admiration and love for another person without seeming super random or insane.

Maybe y’all can try Compli-Monday around your work place or home today.  When you lift up someone else, you lift yourself up too.  And lord know we could all use a little lifting on a Monday 😉

For breakfast today, I ate a big bowl of overnight oats topped with grape nuts and Kashi GO lean crunch

And a wine glass of green tea 🙂 hehe

Now folks, this is a big deal in the life of Makenzie because if I’m eating Grape Nuts without pain, then I am surely recovered from my wisdom teeth extraction.

That cereal has the crunch equivalent of gravel.  No joke.  And I like it.

That’s really all I have for you today!  Hope everyone is rockin’ their Monday 🙂

Question of the Day:

What’s the hardest medical procedure you’ve had to recover from?

  1. Mackenzie,

That’s an easy one for me. Eye surgery with the recovery time involving my head face down for 6 days in a row. I pray that will never have to happen again!!!!

    Love – DAD
