Happy Friday

How is the weather where you are?  Clear skys?  Sunny?  Blizzardy cold?
I hope your enjoying whatever weather you’ve got.  You probably can’t tell from my shot out the back window of Halle’s moving car, but it is so smoky here in Missoula.  So smoky that we can’t even see the mountains.  So smoky that it is officially dangerous to exercise outside….sigh.   You know what that means…
Hello treadmill.
Oh the treadmill.  What a love hate relationship.  It’s so hard to run on a track like a hamster and stare at the gym wall or “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” when you’ve been blessed to run outdoors surrounded by mountains and blue skys.  But you gotta do what you gotta do.
Somehow I did manage to run 3 miles though!  After our workout, Halle and I came home to whip up some breakfast…I was thinking a change from my usual bowl of oats was long over due…
Breakfast Quesidilla anyone?
We layered peanut butter, bananas, rasberries, strawberries and a drizzle of honey on a whole wheat tortilla.  Then we covered it with a second tortilla and grilled it up in the quesidilla maker.  If you aren’t living in a sorority house where a quesidilla maker is almost as necessary as a running faucet, you could just pop your quesidilla in a frying pan over the stove.
I think it was good…we scarfed it down so fast and it was so hot that it was kind of hard to know for sure…but I am almost positive that you cannot go wrong with peanut butter and fruit.
I’m so excited it’s Friday!  I plan to go to the griz game and go camping on the Blackfoot this weekend.  It will be a much needed break from stressful homework and boring classes of the school week.
What is everyone else doing this weekend?  If you get tired of oats, hit up the fruity quesidilla!
